How to Write a Good Review

  • Describe how you used the product, and what for
  • Keep it balanced, talk about the best and worst features
  • Whether your experience was positive or negative, ensure you are realistic and constructive

All reviews are authenticated by Bazaarvoice. If you use personal information, other company names or bad language your review will not be published.

To make sure you can buy with complete confidence, we’re also sharing our customer reviews with you by highlighting products that people have tried and rated 4 stars or above. When you choose a Trade Rated item, you’ll receive a quality item that has been rated highly by our customers. To qualify to be displayed as Trade Rated, an item must have a minimum of 2 customer reviews of 4 or more Stars out of 5. At least one of those reviews must have been left by a trade customer and the product’s overall rating must be 4 Stars or above.

Please note where a Trade Rated product is available in different sizes or colours, we aggregate all the reviews for those items, so not all of those sizes and colours will necessarily have received the minimum number of reviews and star ratings.

How long will I have to wait to see my review published?

All reviews are authenticated by an independent product review service called Bazaarvoice, this process can take up to 3 working days.

Why hasn’t my review been published?

If your review is not relevant to the product or contains personal information, company names or pricing information, it will not be published.

Why has my review been removed?

This could be for a number of reasons:

  • Your review has been reported as not being compliant with our set criteria.
  • The supplier has changed; therefore all previous reviews have to be removed.
  • We no longer sell the product.
Can I review products on behalf of my customers?

You can still review the product using the badge of Tradesman. Customers will be interested to hear what you think of the product’s quality and features, and how easy it was to fit.

How many reviews can I write?

You can review as many products as you like, but you can only write one review per product.

What are Trade Rated products?

Anyone who visits the appropriate product page will be able to read your review. We also feature some ratings and reviews in other promotional activity, so keep an eye out as we may be quoting you!
